Making the Change to Cruelty Free Products
It's no secret that I am an animal lover. As such I want to make a difference in the welfare of animals. Starting with my beauty products. The beauty industry is notorious for testing products on animals especially if products are sold in China. It is a requirement for products to be tested on animals before they can be placed on the market in this country. I made the switch and commitment to change to cruelty free brands. I did my research and found brands that are animal friendly. I was surprised to see how many alternative products are out there. These companies support the ethical treatment of animals. Here's a few that I found and love the products.
Honest Company- Well duh! It's well known that I am a fan of their products.
Belif- This popular brand is kind to our furry friends. I absolutely love their eye cream!
Herbivore Botanicals - they have some awesome products! My favorite being the rose facial spray. I literally use this every day! I also like the coco rose body polish.
Summer Fridays- The jet lag mask is so hydrating. The label includes a cute message about their animal friendly policy.
Dr. Bonner's Castile Soap- My husband introduced me to this and we have used ever since. This soap has many uses but I use as a body wash. My favorite is the peppermint scent. It smells amazing and does not leave a greasy or filmy residue that some body washes do. This family owned brand carries the leaping bunny seal which means its certified cruelty free.
Palmers Coco Butter- I have used this product since I was little. I was happy to find out they are a cruelty free company
Here is a list of a few other brands that do not practice animal testing

And many more. These are just a couple brands that I use regularly
