There's nothing like a great workout. You leave feeling like a million bucks, well at least I do. When I leave from a great workout, I want to finish the day strong with great eating habits. I love smoothies and I make a green smoothie to power up and get some antioxidants in to feed those muscles. Kale is a super food that is low calorie, high in fiber, zero fat, and rich in vitamins. I like to add more Kale to get as many nutrients as possible in one serving. The fruit helps balance out the kale so its not bitter. I make enough to make 2 servings so I can have one now and one later or for breakfast. Here's the recipe I use for a green smoothie (with extra Kale added as a bonus)!
Kale Smoothie
1 1/2 cup Agave or Mango Nector (you can find at Whole Foods)
1 cup fresh or Frozen Mango's
1 cup fresh or Frozen Pineapple's
1 whole Banana
