Summer Essentials

We are midway through summer. Which means beaming sun, humidity, short shorts, tank tops, bare skin!

With the heat and humidity, I definitely keep the products I use to a minimum while still giving my skin the treatment it needs. I definitely want my products to be light weight yet effective. Here's what I've been using to give me that radiant summer glow.

I'm loving this Fresh soy face cleaner for summer. It's a gentle formula that removes dirt and oils leaving the skin fresh and clean.

I tried out this Glam Glow face mask that I received from Sephora and I must say, I'm a fan. It's a moisturizing mask and restores the moisture back into the skin and hydrates.

I have dry skin so hydration is a must for me, even in the summer. This Fresh youth preserving moisturizer is amazing! 

To finish off skin prep, this Facial mist does the trick. I am such a sucker for facial mists. I love them and keep them in my bag. They are definitely refreshing with this summer heat. Especially for that mid day pick me up.

I'm all about that dewy look. I want products that give my skin that dew with a natural glow. I'm a minimalist make up kind of girl. So any natural glow I can achieve without a ton of make up, count me in!

Skin care and prep is important guys. If you have a great base to start with, make up looks even more flawless and can enhance your features instead of covering up.

This Honest Beauty primer is so light weight and gives me that smooth finish. 

Make up is a minimal for me in the summer. Mascara, lip stain, and maybe some highlighter,

Honest Beauty mascara has easily become one of my favorite mascara's, even more then the Two Faced Better Then Sex. It comes with a lash primer which elongates the lashes and can add some drama to the eye for a day or night look. It makes the actual mascara pop even more. It's clean ingredients really do last all day. Give a good lash curl and put this on for some summer time drama.

Becca cosmetics makes some great highlighters. My favorite shade is opal which gives me that sexy subtle shimmer.

Add on some neutral lip color or  slightly tinted stain and I'm good to go. 10 minute out the door make up.  I tend to spend  more time on skin care then I do make up. Hey, this is the only skin I get. I need to take care of it. These are a few of my summer time essentials that get me through the long hot and humid days.
