summer wine + cheese night

A Summer Wine + Cheese Night

It's officially summer, which means it's Rose season!!! One of my friends came home for the summer. To celebrate, I invited few girlfriends over for a wine and cheese night. Just a day to kick back, relax, and enjoy friends. I picked up some bottles of wine and fresh flowers to set the tone. I made a playlist of classic 90's and early 00's r&b that we could vibe out to. I even created my first charcuterie board. While it's not perfect, I think it's pretty cute for my first attempt. You can only get better with practice right?  One thing I love to do which I don't do enough is entertain. From creating beautiful settings and tables, to thinking of a menu, and making a great playlist.
For my wine night, I wanted to create the airy feel of summer.
I pulled out some of my favorite dishes. These organic style plates to start. They are organic due to being slightly imperfect which I love. Made and hand glazed in Italy, they were perfect for the table. If you haven't already I highly recommend investing in a set of classic white dishes. Timeless and classic, they will never go out of style. Cake plates are something that I think are truly underrated. Instead of using the classic round cheese board, I wanted to put a cute spin on my charcuterie. I love how it came out.

Now add the Vino and cheers!
