Hello Again!

        Hello Again!

Hey Guys!! It’s been a minute huh? 2020 has been a year, hasn’t it?! While it has been a year of unforeseen circumstances, I feel it is a year that we needed. Not only has it taught us to slow down and be present. It has brought much needed awareness to the issues affecting our society.
The meaning of home has expanded beyond our expectations this year. We are moving towards more simple ways of living. Creating an environment that make beautiful memories that last a life time while adjusting to this new way of living.
It has been a while since I have created a post. I used this time for some much needed self reflection and learning. I have thought about what I want my blog to be about. What I want to focus on. I don’t know about you guys but I began to get a little annoyed with influencers posting about the same thing. “What I eat in a day”, “how to do this or that”. While it is great to create content that they love, I feel like you’re telling everyone how to be you. That’s not what I want to do. I want to talk about what I love, what inspires me, share my insight, or things of that nature. I don’t want to tell people how to be like me or how to do things like how to wash your face. Everyone’s greatest gift is the ability to be themselves.
So I thank you guys for sticking with me during this hiatus and thank you for coming back! I received so many sweet comments from people saying you love the blog and my IG. I can’t tell you how much that means to me. It’s easy to feel unmotivated. Like no one is reading or really cares for that matter what I’m posting. However, I keep getting little reassurances from you guys to keep going. I was in Nordstrom, one day and the sales associate was so nice. She greeted me of coarse. Asked how I was and informed me she follows me on IG. Who would have thought? Such a kind gesture and so motivating to keep doing what I love.

I can’t tell you all how thankful I am. For your kind words, comments, messages, likes, everything. They are so greatly appreciated.

No special topic today. Just a little message to say Thank you and to tell you I’m back. LOL.  It may take me a little while as I have to start shooting some content. It takes a village I guess. LOL. From my photographer (my husband) who takes most of my pictures to my mom who has commented on every single post I have ever done. LOL.

From the feedback I’m getting, you guys tend to love the home décor content. I will focus a little more on that.

I hope you all have a great week.

XOXO

Ashley
